What got you into cosplay?
I had been attending Sci fi cons since I was little and was going to be staff at the first anime con in Louisiana, so I decided I'd give this cosplay thing a try.
What was your first costume and why?
Kuja from Final Fantasy 9. I was really into the game at the time and thought Kuja was rather sexy. I guess for my first costume it was alright.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I'm working on it. <3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Dream costume? Alucard from Castlevania Symphony of the Night. The costume is so beautiful that if it was made right it would be amazing...and my best friend would kill me.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Back in 2003 I premiered my Iori Yagami Costume. Cherry(another cosplayer that I thought was teh awesome) approached me and told me something along the lines of, "Wow girl, you have some balls to do that costume. Iori is a big guy and you are so small but you manage to pull it off really well." I was in awe.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope. I'm not a competitive costumer, I just do it for fun.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Hall awards.
Tell us a little about yourself
I play WoW with my boyfriend? I'm a huge gamer. I play more video games than most of the guys I know. And I also like translating various things from Japanese to English and vice versa. Though, I am no where near fluent. Its simply a personal hobby.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I have cats.
My favorite anime
I don't really watch anime anymore. I used to in junior high and stopped in high school. Now I stick to manga and live cinema. But my favs would be Miyazaki's films, Weis Kreuz, Yami no Matusei, Hokuto no Ken and Fushigi Yugi
