What got you into cosplay?
Weeeeeeell... I remember when I was little I used to look around for pictures from Kingdom Hearts, and I managed to stumble across a picture of somebody dressed as Halloween Town Sora. I thought it was a cool idea and wanted to do something like that myself one day, and when one of my online friends mentioned about going to an expo, I decided that I wanted to meet her there, and we both decided to cosplay together. (:
What was your first costume and why?
Goku from Dragonball Z xD For a fancy dress party when I was little, I loved it. Used to wear it around the house and all! A bit after that, I made an Android 17 costume out of clothes I found around the house. Loved that too!
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Kim Possible outfit! It was made on a weekend where I was supposed to be doing graphics coursework, when my sister ran in and told me she wanted to do a Shego cosplay. I was so fed up of non-stop graphics that I got up and made a Kim Possible cosplay out of clothes I already had. Complete closet cosplay, but I love it so much!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Freya Crescent - Final Fantasy IX is my absolute dream. That's being made for London Expo May 2008 hopefully. Others include: Pixie Rikku - Kingdom Hearts II (In a YuRiPa group!) What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably Collectormania 4. People actually knew who I was for once xD I could just walk around the con, browse stalls or something and people would just be like '...Kim Possible?' It really made my day xD
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yeah.
What was your best masquerade experience?
My Kim Possible masquerade was pretty fun xD I was asked if Ron Stoppable was my real boyfriend, to which I replied 'No, I love Drakken'. xD It was a really fun experience!
Tell us a little about yourself
Weeeeell. I'm Holly, live in North West England, and I'm part of a cosplay group called FFExpoClan who loves to pimp stuff sideways and take it to the police station. We like making spontaneous videos at cons and our 'Clan Days', and generally just have a blast when we cosplay! Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm a ballroom and latin dancer, obsessed with High School Musical and I generally love dancing xD If you see me at an expo I'll probably be off dancing somewhere lolleries! And I love Harry Potter. A lot.
