What got you into cosplay?
When I attended my first convention (Youmacon 2006) I saw so many people who were dressed up, and I was inspired by their passion for cosplay. It seemed like it would be a fun thing to do, so I knew I had to try it myself. :)
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay was Nicholas D. Wolfwood from Trigun. The outfit was easy and cheap. Wolfwood is probably my favorite anime character ever, so I figured I'd give him a try. Also, Jeff Nimoy was going to be at the convention I wore him to :D
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Possible Future Cosplays Include: Naota (FLCL), Shin (Nana), Nobu (Nana).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Making two cents on confessions at Youmacon. Now I can feed the children!
Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't yet, and I don't do so well on stage, so I don't know if I ever will.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope. I couldn't enter my Wolfwood cosplay because I bought everything.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a very creative person - I've loved drawing from an early age. I used to play the flute, I now play guitar but I am not very good at it. I've taught myself a few things on the piano, but I would love to have real training and have a full knowledge of how to play. I someday hope to own a synthesize and know how to compose electro music. I really just love listening to music; it's like my escape from the world and I get very into it. I play some video games, but I am not hardcore into them like some people. My main game right now is In The Groove 2, which I play at the arcade. I guess that's about all I do.
