What got you into cosplay?
*scratches head* Umm... I think my friends and I were going to Shoujocon 2000 and about 2 weeks before the con, we decided we wanted to cosplay. Well, secretly, I had wanted to cosplay for a while, and so had one of my friends, but we were so timid! We didn't broach the idea til that point.
What was your first costume and why?
Aya, Ayashi no Ceres. Ayashi no Ceres was my most favorite manga at the time and my hair was Aya-length, so Aya it was. I've always been sort of a maniac about having hair look right... it didn't look right for this costume... but that's okay...
What is your favorite costume and why?
MACABRE Toshiya! I put a lot of time into that costume and it really paid off. It's not the most comfortable thing I've made, but it's my favorite! And it's vinyl... I love vinyl.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would like to do a costume from one of each of Yazawa Ai's manga! That's not a "dream costume", but it is a dream! Actually, I'm on the right track!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
People chasing me down screaming "Toshiya!!!" <3<3
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yup!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Haha, is it shallow to say "when I won something"? But I was -truly- happy at AB04 when my Paradise Kiss group took Best in Show for craftsmenship. I actually cried! ...like George would ever cry like that...

First Place Craftsmenship (Advanced), with my Angel Sanctuary group at Anime Boston 07
Mistress of Ceremonies Judge's Award, with my VHD: Bloodlust group at Anime Boston 05
Best in Show, Craftsmenship, with my ParaKiss group at Anime Boston 04
3rd place in the Group Hall Contest at Shoujocon 2001. Angel Sanctuary.

My number one obsession right now is Death Note. It is slowly consuming my life. That is all. ^^
