What got you into cosplay?
Ever since I was little I loved dressing up so when I got into the whole anime scene years later, I just had to cosplay. Besides, trying new things is always good too!
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. Bebop is my favorite anime of all time ever since I saw it in Japanese in 1998. It's such deep anime and there is so much emotion put into that I think some newer people to anime just don't look for.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Favorite eh? Probably to this day, Mai. She's been my main focus with cosplay and she was always first picked in any KOF/Fatal Fury games. I can really relate to her as a character and I've been told I look like her.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would really like to make Kasumi from DOA or a Legend of Dragoon character with the big armor and wings.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Wow, there are way too many to count. There are so many inside jokes at cons, that I wouldn't know where to start. The Farmer, Rakifi, King Tut, and the list goes on,
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes at Kazecon 2003 and Anime Reactor 2003. Also in Anime Central 2005.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Kazecon 2003.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
For our Kazecon skit, Troppy, Leonhart, Jonno, and myself won first prize! $500!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a student at Purdue University right now majoring in English and Law. I'm currently working as a waitress to earn some money for the summer. My hobbies include: sewing, playing video games, traveling, watching Seinfeld religiously, and hanging out with friends.
