What got you into cosplay?
My love of costumes and anime<3
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz when I was about 3 years old. I wore that costume every day for maybe a year. I even had a stuffed black dog and a basket and the must have ruby slippers. But my first cosplay was Harley Quinn from Batman. It was all hand stitched and hand painted it was a pain to make but I had so much fun.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hmm, Maybe any of my Pokemon cosplays people seemed to like them a lot haha.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream costume would have to be a giant mech. I am not so much into human cosplays as I am into full body suits. Being able to cosplay as a Mech would be so freaking amazing.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The Socal Cosplay Gathering 2008 would have to be the most memorable for me, everything was so small and very personal, I got to talk to a lot of photographers and cosplayers on a personal level with out the huge crowds you would normally see at a large con. Me and my bestfriend went as Pokemon and had a blast.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet.
Tell us a little about yourself
Just your typical nerdy girl. I work at Toys R Us, I am going to school to possibly become a History teacher but there is always that part of me that will want to create costumes forever. My room is covered in anime posters, movie posters, and anime figurines.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I also run my own little business making and selling cosplay accessories called Chlobits Cosplay. I have 35+ commissions under my belt and have been in business since April 2007.
