What was your first costume and why?
First anime cosplay was Duplica/Imite from Pokemon. First convention cosplay was Kagome from Inuyasha.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Sasuke from Naruto. Quality was low but I had a good time with it.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Zidane from Dissidia.
I'm in progress for my other one which is Kusuriuri, the medicine seller from Mononoke (Bakaneko).
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I seem to have bad luck with sewing machines so probably this last year which was finishing a costume in an hour with a friend's machine and having to work around all the extra details.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I used to. Though, I don't any longer and haven't for several years. However there is talk of a Pokemon battle...
What was your best masquerade experience?
Masq's were only stress filled and an annoyance. I don't think I really participated in them because I even liked the anime or anything, I was just friends with some of the group and thus thrown into it. Headfirst.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I don't compete, several group awards were won back when I did masq. for craftsmanship but that's all.
Tell us a little about yourself
I currently go to MCAD, and am earning my BFA in Illustration. I work at MCAD's high school program during the summer as a TA for drawing and visual composition. I enjoy listening to most music and reading children's books. General likes/interests are: drawing, writing, stuffed animals, things that are cute, dnd, kung-fu movies, 90's cartoons, comic books, steampunk design, egl and visual kei clothing, hair styling, backpacks (specifically animal shaped ones), chainmaille, theater, and costume design (not anime/game related).
I dislike drama tomatoes, homophobia, newfags, bad indie rock, comic sans and generic fashion models.
I am fairly average.

My favorite game(s)
I rarely play games, when I do it's Soul Cal (any and all), Brawl and/or Melee, Gem Fighter! Other than that it's DnD.

The Arrival, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Le Petit Prince, The Phantom Tollbooth, Lord of the Rings, Three early Redwall books (Redwall, Mossflower and Mattimeo), Madeline L'Engle books, The Last Unicorn.
