What got you into cosplay?
umm...video games and anime. well that and the fact that i'm an artist/illustrator and one of my favorite things is character design. leads right into costuming that does...and let's not forget that halloween is awesome. i mean what's more fun than being in costume right?
What was your first costume and why?
Count D from Petshop of Horrors...I liked the series and Count D was just weird (and looked a lot like me at the time)...it turned out to be the WORST idea i ever had...as i have never been so unpleasantly molested by fan girls in my life...there aren't even any pics of me in this outfit as I was constantly obstructed from camera view.
What is your favorite costume and why?
All of them are my favorite at the time i create and wear them.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm thinking of doing Zant from Zelda:Twilight Princess, but i'm gonna get all the wear i can out of this Ryuk costume first. and i'd like to do a Devilman costume at some point.
Do you participate in masquerades?
occasionally but not generally...it's a waste of an entire con day unless the prizes are worth it. my goal is usually to show up on the 1st page of a google image search lol...my Ryuk costume does several times. and Kankuro used to...
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
just won a Hallway award for Ohayocon 2007 for my Ryuk costume...registration for the masquerade was closed by the time people convinced me to do it (i didn't wanna waste my whole day waiting around to be judged...) but it is VERY likely i would have won something more. i think i may have won other hallway awards too...i'll check and fix this later.
