What got you into cosplay?
Generally being exposed to it a lot online from when I was much younger. I rarely come in contact with it personally (being in the UK with few cons around), but now I'm older I have more opportunities to try it myself.
What was your first costume and why?
I'd tried various hairstyles and makeup of characters for "practice" in the past, but my first proper costume was Roxas from Kingdom Hearts 2. I'm aware that it's been done a lot, but I don't care. I absolutely love the game, I love the character and (of course) love his clothes, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
What is your favorite costume and why?
At the moment probably my Axel costume. Although I didn't make the coat myself (apart from some alterations) I was really pleased with how the wig came out, as it was my first time ever styling one. I wore it on the first day of my first con/expo and the reaction I got was something I'll always remember!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd love to make a really accurate Kuja (from Final Fantasy IX) one day. That and Ultimecia from Final Fantasy VIII. They're both so villainous and beautiful. <3
Update: I've decided to jump in and plan a Kuja costume for the London Expo this May. I don't know if I'll get it done in time, or even be able to make it at all, but I'm determined to get it done and as accurate as I possibly can at some point!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably the first day of the London Expo last year (May 2007). It was my first ever cosplay experience, and all the girls running up to me and hugging me/asking for pictures of me as Axel was amazing!
Do you participate in masquerades?
I haven't yet as the only costumes I've worn have not been made completely by me. If this Kuja one goes as planned, though, I will.
Tell us a little about yourself
I study Computer Games Design at university, and my hobbies pretty much consist of gaming, art, music and photography. And cosplay, of course.

Final Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts (1 and 2), Half Life, Populous, Halo, Silent Hill, Unreal Tournament, Monkey Island series.
My favorite character(s)
Sephiroth, Axel, Roxas, Demyx, Organization XIII in general, Kuja, Rufus and The Turks, Ultimecia.
