What got you into cosplay?
Uh...probably just seeing really cool costumes done by my friends, my fellow convention-goers, and random people on the internet.
What was your first costume and why?
Ace of Spades...because it looked devastatingly cruel and intelligent.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The Musketeer from Granado Espada. I feel like a rockstar when I wear it.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My best experience would have to be PortConMaine 2007.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yeah, but I've never done a skit...I'm currently working on that...
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Runner Up at PortConMaine 2007 for The Musketeer. Best Beginner at Animaritime 2009 for The Musketeer. First Place Intermediate at PortConMaine 2009 for Mary Spencer. Best Female at PortConMaine 2009 for Mary Spencer. Judges Award: The Devil's in the Details at ConnectiCon 2009 for Mary Spencer. Best Journeyman at PortConMaine 2010 for Bumblebee. 1st Place Sci-Fi/Fantasy at New England Comic Con 2010 for Bumblebee.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm back from Zagreb, currently docked in Mass, was working as an interpreter. I like hanging out with friends, going on lots of weekend trips throughout Europe and North America and loving life.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Things that make me happy: trebuchets, going on trips (no, not THAT kind of trips), listening to music, poker, pranks, killing jokes, gambling with my life, sleeping, not sleeping, dervishes, Manchester United, GEZELLIGHEID.
