What got you into cosplay?
I had no idea it was a thing because I thought those walking around in costume at conventions were booth babes or hired models!
What was your first costume and why?
I actually began working on a Birdgirl (Harvey Birdman) costume in 2005, but I haven't touched it since. First completed was Sailor Jupiter 2008, as well as Phoenix, Dark Phoenix and White Phoenix of the Crown.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Jean Grey, 90's Jim Lee rendition. I love Jean Grey as she's my favorite character ever in the Marvel universe, and Jim Lee's costume designs of the 90's are simply the best. It's the primary colors and shoulder pads!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes! I have so many! I have an extensive to-do list! Just need the time and money!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
For a costume contest at C2E2 2010, I went up as Scarlet Witch and yelled "No more mutants!" up on stage. I got booed! It was awesome!
Do you participate in masquerades?
