What got you into cosplay?
My chat-friends. They always go to conventions and when I decided to meet them, I've decided to make a cosplay...
What was your first costume and why?
My first real costume was Kyoko Mogami of the mangaseries Skip Beat!. 2006 at the Comic-Salon in Erlangen I met a girl who liked this series very much and who wanted to cosplay Kanae Kotonami. I had no experience in sewing at that time and so we made our cosplays together and wore it at the Frankfurt book-fair 2006^^
What is your favorite costume and why?
Cure Black, because I love tomboy-characters and she is like me^^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Subaru Nakajima (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS)! I want to make the complete costume with two Revolver Knuckles and Mach Caliber. For the moment, I'm not good enough for this, but I continue learning until the day comes to realize it^-^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Sewing machines don't like me XD" They always get broken if I'm in a hurry^^'
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
- 1st prize at the Munich Comicfestival 2007 for Mermaid Princess Lina - 2nd winner at the German Cosplay Championship qualification round at the Comic-Salon 2008
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm obsessed with Magical Girls, tomboy-characters and I'm a crybaby. Cosplay sometimes means war for me. If you want to win, you have to be perfect, elsewhere the better ones will rule over you... My skills improve with everything new I try. If I won't choose outfits that are more difficult than the ones I've made before, then I wouldn't become better!!
