What got you into cosplay?
Well, I went to my first Anime Central convention in '01 or '02, I cant remember. Everyone there was in costume and I was so excited, I wanted to join them in cosplaying. ^^
What was your first costume and why?
I was wearing this red schoolgirl uniform at ACen '02 that I had made and I thought I was the coolest.. I was such a dork then..
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume that I've made and worn, is probably Kizna from Candidate for Goddess. It was easy to make and very comfortable to wear.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Well, a costume that I'd really love to make is Yuna's Berserker dressphere. It's really fun to fight with in the game, also it is really detailed. But sadly, I don't have the body nor the sewing skills to make the costume.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When I cosplayed as Kizna, barely anyone recognized the character so during that con.. I kept saying to myself that "I wish atleast one person would take my picture during the entire con." And it happened, but out of the entire convention, only one person asked for a photo.
Tell us a little about yourself
I go to Bartlett High School which is in Bartlett Illinois, lol. I use to work at the horse stable where I board my two ponies, but now I have a part time job at a japanese restaurant in Charlestowne mall. I'm not asian, lol, but I got the job there because my friend's family owns the restaurant and his parents like me alot.. So they let me work there.
My favorite anime
My favorite anime? Hmm.. it's a tough decision, I would have to say that my favorite anime is tied between The Get Backers and Pilot Candidate (Candidate for Goddess).
My favorite game(s)
My favorite game.. once again tied! I'm obsessed with DDR and I've won so many competitions, but I also looove the Final Fantasy series, both are addicting games.
My favorite book(s)
I dont really read anymore, but other than manga series.. I like "Chicken Soup for the Horse Lover's Soul" It's a really good book, if you're into horses.
My favorite character(s)
My favorite characters, hmm.. Well, if you can't already tell, I'm obsessed with Yuna and Selphie from the Final Fantasy series, I also loooove Sango from Inu yasha, and Tai from the first season of Digimon. *drools* Tai.. I use to think he was sexy, but I think Ginji from Get Backers is starting to replace him. XD
My favorite movies(s)
Oh God! Where to begin? I love Princess Mononoke(And no, that isnt how I got my user name) Moulin Rouge, Cowboy Bebop the movie, Spirited Away.. I can go on forever, and yes, I love movies other than anime. I saw The Grudge a while ago.. That scared the bejeebies outta me o_o *shudders*
