What got you into cosplay?
Manga and video games. And of course I never would've done it without my cosplaying friends JustKiwi and SilverSkye or awesome photographers like Die and Ryan.
What was your first costume and why?
I made my first costume for Halloween before I even knew cosplay even existed. It was the kimono version of Haku from Naruto, which I did with my friend JustKiwi. SilverSkye was with us too as Sakura. I think that was the first cosplay experience for all of us. I don't remember how long ago it was. Probably around 2004. Now that I look back on it, the little sewing I did was terrible. I had no idea what hemming was. But the costume didn't turn out half bad, thanks to my mom and grandmother.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Despite its simplicity, I'd have to say my L costume. It's comfortable and easy to have fun with, and L is awesome. But the costumes I'm most proud of are the Raving Rabbids. My friends and I toiled for months on them, and they turned out pretty awesome IMHO.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
As of now, I don't expect to have much time or money to spend on cosplay, so my standards are pretty low. I think the costume that comes immediately to mind is Soren from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (or Radiant Dawn, I dunno which yet). There are plenty of other, more complicated costumes that I'd like to do, but since they're not coming to me right now, I must not want to do them very badly ._. ...Although, now when I think about it, when I was playing FE:PoR earlier today, I just couldn't stop staring at Reyson. I think that's definitely a costume I'd want to make someday. Yes indeed, with a knee-length golden wig and big feathery wings. Functioning wings. Now that's a dream costume if there ever was one.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cosplay always generates amazingly memorable experiences. I can't just pick one. Cons, photoshoots, whatever, they're always so incredible.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No. I have terrible stage fright. (Then why the heck are you cosplaying?!?) To tell the truth, I get really nervous when people talk to me or ask for my picture when I'm in costume, and if it's a large crowd, I'm always left shaking. Call it an adrenaline rush, but I feel pretty pathetic either way.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope.

You know, I've read a lot of books, but nothing's really stuck with me. I've never really wanted to read something over and over. But I really like cookbooks, anything that has "Calvin & Hobbes" in it... But I'll read just about everything.
