What got you into cosplay?
It would bug me to be called a "n00b" at my first anime convention, so I figured, "Why not?"
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was the Red Butterfly Suicide Squad jacket (Kyoko Honda) for Sakura Con '06. I figured that the jacket, a great find thanks to Good Will, would be easy to decorate and romp around in for the one day I'd be going.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume would have to be the Sophia Forrester costume I made for Sakura Con '07, which was also my senior project. I had help making it, but overall, I did a lot of work with it and added the details and finishing touches (hemming, eyelets, and making my "zipper pull"). Over all I'm proud of my work, even if the proportions of the uniform because of my proportions were off.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Tsunade from Naruto. Orihime from Bleach. Anita Blake from the Anita Blake novels. Melaka Fray from the Joss Whedon graphic novels. Alice from Alice in Wonderland. There will be others.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting my boyfriend at Sakura Con '06 and going with him as Sophia Forrester and Alex Rou (or Row or Rowe or as I just found, Low **Gags**) to Sakura Con '07.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Sakura Con '07's masquerade ball. It was fun, but left early.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Psh, <i>those</i> costumes? Give me a few more years and see if I manage to win something.
Tell us a little about yourself
I love reading and writing, knitting and cross stitch, browsing around online, collecting recipes and needlecraft books, cooking, and last but not least, my boyfriend.

Penelope J. Stokes books, Charlaine Harris vampire series, Anita Blake series, The Darkangel trilogy by Meredith Ann Pierce, Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass, etc.
My favorite movies(s)
I don't have a favorite movie, but I do like Fight Club, Blood: The Last Vampire, Spirited Away, Kill Bill, Dodgeball (even though it is pointless, along with), Napoleon Dynamite, Lord of the Rings, various Mel Brooks films...oh yeah, Versus, but really only for it's development in plot, and other movies. Kiki's Delivery Service was cute, too.
