What got you into cosplay?
I have always loved dressing up in costumes (in fact Halloween is my favorite holiday) and so after I became an anime fan I thought that it was the perfect source of inspiration for costumes and I really wanted to go as my favorite characters to anime cons ^.^
What was your first costume and why?
Well, it was a combination of 3: Tohru-Fruits Basket, Asuka-Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Robin-Witch Hunter Robin. It was my first time going to an anime con, so I wanted to have a costume for each day. They turned out pretty good and I loved wearing them!
What is your favorite costume and why?
It would have to be a tie between Chii-Chobits and Rosette-Chrono Crusade. They were both so much fun to make and I absolutely love the characters! And everyone really liked my costumes and said I fit the characters really well too ^.^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Right now its Saber from Fate/Stay Night with a very awesome sword.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Anime Central (ACEN)
Do you participate in masquerades?
I really want to but I don't know what I need to do in order to be in masquerades..
Tell us a little about yourself
I's a Classics major (ancient civilizations and classical languages) and a History minor (medieval studies). I love my job working in a library ^.^ and my favorite thing in the whole world is my pup Cody.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Besides being a anime and sci-fi geek, I also love cooking and painting and watching movies ^.^
