What got you into cosplay?
I got dragged onstage during my friends' masquerade skit at Shoujocon 2002 and felt pretty weird for not being in costume. So at my next con, I tried it myself. BIG MISTAKE.
What was your first costume and why?
Julia from Cowboy Bebop. Incredibly shitty and looked nothing like the character design. Luckily, no photos of it exist!
What is your favorite costume and why?
This seems to change with every costume I make these days. The top contestants are Giselle, Ryoko, Original Design Zelda, and Aina Sahalin.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Battlesuit Ryoko.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Wearing Giselle in Times Square and taking pictures with a billion little girls. And pretty much anything involving LotHT and Tenchi Muyo.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Oh like only all the time.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I can't even decide anymore. :V

Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Krys. I was born and raised in Jersey, moved to Philadelphia for a while, then peaced out and moved back to where I always belonged. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and have been working in research and development for a while. In a perfect world, I would own my own animal shelter and veterinary clinic with a 24-hour Wawa. I would also have mutant powers. And a baby seal that lives in my bathtub.
