What got you into cosplay?
I'd had only a passing interest in cosplay, up until my first convention. My best friend and I went to AnimeNEXT 2006, and we were blown away by all the skill and creativity.
What was your first costume and why?
"Random Tsuru-senryu Student" from Dragon Ball. XD Yes. I slapped together a half-assed costume for the convention. Someday, I'd like to redo the costume from scratch. X3 First "real" cosplay was Luffy from One Piece.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Apparently I have a thing for characters voiced by Mayumi Tanaka... 'cuz I can't decide between Kuririn and Luffy. XD Kuririn's fun to pimp out and Luffy is just awesome in every way. Also, I seem to have this compulsive need to incorporate the color RED into my costumes. o__o
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Kino from Kino no Tabi, Shiris from Record of Lodoss War, and Zangya from Dragon Ball Z (movie #9)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
AnimeNEXT 2007 - Meeting Glay and QuantumDestiny.
Otakon 2008 - DB cosplay group. YESSSSSSSSSSS.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I'd like to someday.

Uh... I'm a college student; my major is Japanese. Linguistics is my thing; I hope to get a graduate degree in TESL and teach English in Japan. ^^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm a girl, in case it's hard to tell... I tuck my hair behind my ears for maximum boy effect! XDD;; Also, I like bald caps.
