What got you into cosplay?
I always wore costumes when I was little, and loved Halloween. Now I have an excuse to dress up as much as I want. Plus I like wearing wigs.
What was your first costume and why?
Faye Valentine. I was clueless about cosplay and thought "Hey, that looks easy." I was a victim of closet cosplay and inaccuracy at that time. I'd like to think I've improved since then.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Right now my favorite is my Monica costume. While it does need some repair and improvement, it the first costume I've constructed that I've really liked. Tackling a Trinity Blood costume gave me a ton of experience.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I think one day I'd like to do a costume with full body armor, possibly Samus or something similar. Until then, I just plan on improving my sewing skills first.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Essentially making a lot of friends has been the highlight of my cosplay experience.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but maybe some day.
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated from college over a year ago and am now employed at a video game company in Southern California. While there are some art aspects to my job, I try to keep up on my traditional drawing skills. Right now cosplay is my biggest hobby due to the fact that work eats up most of my time.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Uhhh, it's been a really long time since I've updated this thing, so most of the info was pretty old or really dumb sounding. Although, I am still roommates with Solaria, we just have separate rooms now ;P
