What got you into cosplay?
I fell in love with anime in middle school and wanted to go to an anime con, so I started researching them to find the nearest one and found all the cool people who dressed up. I've always loved to dress up and make costumes, so it was a given.
What was your first costume and why?
Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist. I made the entire outfit out of black t-shirts but never got around to making the hair. I'm going to be re-making it soon.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hard one...pretty much whatever costume I've just finished making. I love Reno just because he's so much fun, and Organization XIII.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
At this point, not really.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Animania winter '08. Riku and Sora played tag and got kicked out of the mall.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Kind of? I was told I won, but because I wasn't there when they gave out prizes, they gave it to somebody else. I'm not upset at all, I thought it was funny. I was just happy to be there hanging out with awesome people.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a senior in high school (finally!) and am currently ripping my hair out as I prepare for college. I'm also pretty excited that the next con I'm planning to attend is going on the weekend after my birthday ^_^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I can seem very mean and closed-off from a distance, but get close enough and I'll talk your ear off.
