About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
Gaara of the Desert. I overheard some people talking about Naruto, which I knew nothing about at the time. I added "Gaara is awesome" and somehow got roped into my first convention.
What was your first costume and why?
..Gaara of the Desert. It's too bad I'm too tall X_X
What is your favorite costume and why?
The silly costume I did for Halloween "Scott Pilgrim". Most because I loved seeing Plumboy run around in a pretty aquamarine wig and short shorts.... ahaha...*cough* Usually the simplest costumes have the most appeal for me.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
hmmmm.. the Katamari prince? I think that would be a really fun costume. I'd be like a mascot at Disney land..except cool.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
March Toronto Anime Con. A very little con, but very memorable and fun.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have in 3 now :) Two successfully...
What was your best masquerade experience?
It was at Anime North 06. The audience was screaming and catcalling like crazy..and I was wearing contacts, and could barely see with the stage lights. Now it's all over youtube.. but it's too embarrassing to watch. It was our first, but our best.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes I have *excited face* Plumboy and I won the Anime North Hall Award 2008 for our Sasuke and Naruto Hokage and Anbu.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm at YorkU. Right now I work as a security guard for the Molson Amphitheatre and BMO football field. My hobbies are cosplay and prop design. ...wow. I sound so dull...
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Not really.
My favorite anime
...Naruto. Only technically I only read the manga. I don't really like the anime, per se...
My favorite game(s)
Pac Man and Vector.
My favorite book(s)
Where the Wild Things Are.
My favorite character(s)
Gaara of the Desert.
