About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
The Internet. My friends, and what else but sugar? Its all began in my friends bedroom at a sleep over party when we were looking at a picture of Fullmetal alchemist and found a "real life picture" of edward... of course we all freaked out in excited giggles (conisdering the amount of sugar we had consumed it was suprising we hadnt allready) and went straigh to wikipedia. From there it was all a piece of cake -__- untill we got to the poiny of actually creating the costumes, then it became clear why some peoples costumes lookes not as good as others.
What was your first costume and why?
The randomest thing ever, first of we haddnt time to create awsome costumes beause our fisrt convention might have been one of the smallest ones ever created. But... never the less we had to have something, thus our "random ninja" costume's came togher. With head bands that were purchased at the con and a cheap ugly shirt from the sally-ann my first costume seemed a sucess! To me and my friends at least. hahaha, it wasnt till we got to the con that we relized your actually supposed to dress like a characher... that day or view of cosplay changed...
What is your favorite costume and why?
The Start of my Sakura Kinimoto (My second cotume) I am in love with the headpeice and the sewing machine is my best friend for this. I had alot of assistance from my grandmother who didnt seen to be very thrilled that I wanted her to help my do this "impossible" thing. But never the less we spent hours on it and it was eventually completed with style. I was also amazed at how many people actually new who I was at the convention.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Sakura (Tsubasa cronicle) Dragon Queen, the design of that outfit blows my mind, I also like her outfit in the calendar from the month of December. I love Dejiko's costume and it would be great if I could make it. Another one I have allways liked is Sora's halloween town outfit and his outfit from Kingdom Hearts II. It is ever so very awsome
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cosplaying at school. Me and my friends attend a pretty average sized high school, just over one thousand students. We were some of the only people in costumes and the best part was that every one pointed and stared at us and we could really care less what they thought of us. And then, someone in the hallways points at me and screams "YOUR SAKURA FROM TSUBASA!!!!!!" We then talk about how Tsubasa is like "the best show ever!" She leaves but not after taking a picture of me.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I havent yet, but next year for Anime Evolution and Sakura-con I am really hopeing to attend on or the other. I think it would be great to dress up in a pretty dress hide my face and then do high class ballroom dances with random people I dont know! Awsome!
Tell us a little about yourself

My friends and I are different from everyone else because our lunch our usually includes tackle wars and red rover (yes because were cool like that)
