What got you into cosplay?
My mom taught me to sew when I was a little kid and I always made costumes for my dolls and later myself. I used to be obsessed with dog costumes and wore a fake tail sewed to my pants until i was 8! :)
What was your first costume and why?
probably an Ewok cuz my first memories are of loving them and Princess Leia. My first real cosplay costume was probably Lara Croft from Tomb Raider many yrs ago for Halloween, then lots of Padme and now I do mainly anime.
What is your favorite costume and why?
i think my favorite is my Faye Valentine cuz it was super hard to find the shiny yellow rubbery fabric and work with and i think it came out good
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
the black mourning dress of Queen Amidala from SW:TPM. For anime my next project is going to be Sango from Inuyasha's battle costume. for random movies i'd really like to do the outfit worn by Violet Baudelaire in Lemony Snickets.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
i really like going out and meeting other ppl in costumes and just having something fun to talk about and i love it when i make people costumes and they like them

Tell us a little about yourself
Just moved to Los Angeles to learn about acting and enjoy the big city life. I have a BS in Computer Science and used to be a software engineer. I have a big furry Chow Chow dog and love to go traveling, I traveled across America about 4 times last year. I take acting classes and study Wushu kung fu. My hobby is making costumes either from anime, historical periods or movies, especially Star Wars.
