What got you into cosplay?
I needed to be more involved attending cons. Watching videos, taking cosplay pics, and shopping at the dealers room were the activities I did at anime cons 2004 and earlier. Since I started cosplaying in late 2004, I met new people, participated in gatherings, and saved me from quitting anime.
What was your first costume and why?
Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist. I watched 17 episodes of FMA at Fanime Con 2004 Midnight Madness. After I watched 9 episodes and watched Edward kick butt, I said to myself, "I'm going to cosplay Edward." FMA is my all time favorite anime series and cosplaying Edward saved me from quitting anime.

What is your favorite costume and why?
Edward Elric. The reasons are Edward is my signature cosplay and my cosplaying roots. More people recognize me as Edward.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Brian from Family Guy. Brian is my favorite Family Guy character.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
There are two. The first took place at Anime Expo 2006. There was a mini FMA gathering after the Vic Mignogna panel. Turnout was excellent for an on the fly gathering. After the group shots and actions shots were completed, the craziness began including Yaoi pics. A female cosplaying as Kimbly and I did a Yaoi shot. After the gathering, her friends and I hung out for the rest of the day.
The second is the CLAMP gatherings. Since Anime Expo 2006, the CLAMP gatherings have been consistently excellent. I met a lot of people. To quote someone from the CLAMP Fanime Forums, “We’re beautiful, we’re powerful, we’re CLAMP.”
Tell us a little about yourself
I've been unemployed since Cisco terminated my contract in Nov'08. I'm taking accounting classes at De Anza College. If I find a new job, then I drop most of my classes. I continue to learn something new, find new interests, and experience new adventures. I spend most of my spare time watching anime, reading books, working out at the gym, cooking, dancing, and listening to music.
