What got you into cosplay?
I love acting and I love anime- the chance to blend both was something I couldn't pass up ^^
What was your first costume and why?
The first costume I took to a convention was Lina Inverse at A-kon 2002 because she's one of my favorite characters.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Bankotsu from InuYasha. My mom and I made it in about 2-3 weeks from scratch and I still love how it turned out. Plus, the chance to cosplay my favorite manga character was sooo awesome.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Ahhh, several. It seems to change by my mood *laughs*
Some I'd definitely like to do at some point are: Militia!Rosette from Chrno Crusade, Ran from Detective Conan, Arabasta!Nami from One Piece, and Meer from Gundam Seed Destiny.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Winning "Best in Show" at NekoCon 2003 with our InuYasha "The Quest for the Biggest Sword" skit.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Almost always, as part of our group- "Kenshin's Pants Productions."

The "Best in Show" skit at NekoCon 2003
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
"Best in Show" -- both for craftsmanship and the skit at NekoCon 2003 for our skit, "The Quest for the Biggest Sword." I was Bankotsu for this skit.
"First Place" -- Naka-Kon 2005 for my Jakotsu costume.
"Best Cosplay Skit" -- Naka-Kon 2006 for our skit, 'Let the Games Begin' with my Edward Elric costume.
"Audience Favorite Skit" -- Naka-Kon 2007 for our skit, 'Save the Schoolgirl, Save the World' with my Monkey D. Luffy costume.
"Hall Cosplay Judge's Award" -- Naka-Kon 2007 for my Lum costume as part of KPP's Rumic Heroine's group (Lum, Akane and Kagome).
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a librarian working on a library science major. Outside of anime, I spent a lot of time doting on my pets- of which I have A LOT- including my hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, birds and dogs.
