What got you into cosplay?
I've always enjoyed theatre and costuming. When I went to my first convention, combining that love with anime seemed only right.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume Lina Inverse at A-kon 2002. She's one of my favorite anime characters and I had the red hair to pull it off.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Bankotsu from InuYasha. My mom and I made it in about 2-3 weeks from scratch and I still love how it turned out. Plus, he's one of my all time favorite manga characters.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh several. Right now it'd probably be several more Hetalia costumes.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Winning "Best in Show" at NekoCon 2003 with our InuYasha "The Quest for the Biggest Sword" skit. Also, AnimeFest 2009- which was just an amazing show overall and we won a Judge's Award for our skit.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Almost always, as part of our group- "Kenshin's Pants Productions."
What was your best masquerade experience?
The Best in Show skit at NekoCon 2003 and our Judge's Award at AnimeFest 2009.
