What got you into cosplay?
I had been dying to make a costume for the Lord of the Rings since the movies came out. I was so obsessed with Eowyn's and Arwen's costumes and wanted to take a gander at them. Due to not realizing there was such a thing as conventions where people cosplay, I didn't try it until 2005.
I still haven't made a Lord of the Rings costume yet!
What was your first costume and why?
Probably Ginny Weasley, because it was easy and low-maintenance. I think that's the first one I've actually worn out in public, not for Halloween.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Radical Edward from Cowboy Bebop. I was really late in watching Cowboy Bebop, but Ed and I were like peas in a pod.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Any of Snow White's costumes from Mirror Mirror, Eowyn's white dress from TTT, The Black Bandit from The Fall
Tell us a little about yourself
Graduated with a BA in TV/Cinema. It sucked out my soul.
Aside from the soul-sucking of school, I like to make films, watch films, LIVE films, rock out, read, and party like a rockstar.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
My sense of humor is corn-on-the-macabre.
My favorite game(s)
Lego games, Portal 1 & 2, Animal Crossing
My favorite book(s)
Fables (Mean Seasons) by Bill Willingham, Harry Potter (Goblet of Fire), Lord of the Rings (Return of the King), Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt, Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe, too many too list, I think.
Samuel Beckett, TS Eliot, Tom Stoppard, and Aphra Behn pretty much rock my world.
My favorite character(s)
Indiana Jones, Bigby Wolf, Jack Sparrow, Sirius Black, Captain Hook, Marquis de Carabas, Crowley, Harry Potter, Leonidas, and Batman.
