What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved dressing up and pretending to be someone else, and having cosplay right there just felt so right, and makes me just so happy when I do it.
What was your first costume and why?
Subaru Sumeragi from Tokyo Babylon at Anime Destiny 2005. It was my first convention, and the only thing I could think to pull together in that short amount of time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently, I love the Kita Koukou seifuku (suzumiya haruhi no yuuutsu), because I love the series, but I'm making my first costume from absolute scratch (Tear Grants Cool Girl costume), and I love it more and more
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd love to do one of Sakura's outfits from the Cardcaptor Sakura artbooks. There are a lot of costumes I'd love to do, actually.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably Fanime 2007, where I meant to cosplay as Haruhi Suzumiya, but the armband ripped, and I forgot the ribbon, and went anyways, and was quickly labeled as Mikuru and got molested. So much fun, and definitely memorable ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
I would if I weren't always doing something else during the masquerade; this year it was prom. ;_; I think the Pokemon group is going to try to do a skit at AOD

College freshman about to freeze her ass off as she moves from not-so-sunny California to 8-months-of-snow New York ^_^

I've only just started getting into video games. I just finished Tales of the Abyss, and I am completely head over heels for it.
My favorite book(s)
Sci-fi/fantasy books are my drug, and medical thrillers are my prescription drug. I love works by Neil Gaiman, Michael Chrichton, James Patterson, Jim Butcher, and Charles de Lint. I also love historical fiction. I read a lot, so it's hard for me to pick just one book. Or even ten or twenty. I've been in the HP and LotR fandoms for a while
