What got you into cosplay?
...Halloween and my love of Sailor Moon started it...it just grew when I went to KumoriCon in 2006. :D I didn't even know what cosplaying was until I was about 12.
What was your first costume and why?
Unofficially, Sailor Moon when I was 7. The first I wore to a con was the girls' uniform from Ouran.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Yukina~~! (This'll sound attention-whore-y, but) It was by far the costume I got the most attention in. And I loved it. I was pretty much the only one there, meaning my friends could find me easily.
...It's also the costume I got my first posed picture in. I was kidnapped by Bakura! 8D
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
It all depends. I have a lot of dream costumes, but none are all too complicated...except Palutena (Super Smash Bros Brawl - Pit's Final Smash). She's the hardest one on my list. It would be so much fun. *w*
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
KumoriCon 2007, 'cause I got to meet my guildmates from my Gaia Online guild, Cosplayers of the Pacific Northwest.
That, and I got to meet a whole lot of other people, including some I'd met the previous year, and I'm still in contact with a few of them ^^
Do you participate in masquerades?
I want to, but not yet. Stupid stage fright. I do have an unofficial cosplay group, though (Kokoro no Me~ "Eyes of the Heart"), so ...I don't know when it'll happen.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Pff, I wish.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm technically a senior in high school, live with my parents, two cats, two fish, and a crayfish named Lucy, and don't have a driver's permit or job. 8D I don't know what I want to do with my life, other than have something to do with art. I've taken at least 3 years of Japanese classes, and don't see an end quite yet. I attempted to teach myself ancient Egyptian, too, but haven't recently. Oh yeah, and I ramble a lot.
