My name is Julie and currently live in Orlando, FL! I work at Universal Studios Florida with the photography company, so I'm usually lurking around the characters with a camera in tow. When I'm not working, hanging at the theme parks, or cosplaying, I'm usually relaxing at home, playing games, or having a grand ol' time.

I'm a generally happy-go-lucky person, and get along with almost anyone. I love the arts (performing and fine), and love talking about different shows and things. I have a Manx rumpy named Pixie that I love to death!

I also work with METROCON in Tampa, FL every year doing one thing or another (performer, graphic artist, Liaison, etc).

What got you into cosplay?
My best friend wanted to do this kick butt cosplay of the song "Sailor War Supreme" from Sera Myu: the Musical. Her best friend, my sister, and I helped her start it up. The rest is history.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Sailor Neptune because the cosplay mentioned above and the fact that we were having a hard time finding someone who was willing to play her (they didn't want to for stupid reasons). I didn't care about it, so I said, "why not?"
What is your favorite costume and why?
I can't just choose one. I love them all. <3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
There's too many! =*o*= I'm always wanting to do new costumes.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
All the great friends I've made since I began this. That really surpasses all the contests, costumes, everything.
Do you participate in masquerades?
OF COURSE! The thrill of the competition is a rush that give me this high... I feel as if I am born to perform! Sometimes I'm asked to judge, too, and that's always the honor!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Too many to list, and I'm always making new ones!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Just a couple. =^.^=;; I enter a lot but don't win often. No biggie. The biggest award to me are the reactions of the other people at the con. Oh-and how loud my friends are when I enter. They yell and scream like I am a celebrity. XD I love it. =^.^=v Makes me feel loved and all that mushy stuff. I have my AA in Fine Art, work in a candy store, could live at Disney, collect BJDs/Dollfies, love performing, and I love graphic design.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I love cats! I have a "tiny" obsession with the little cuties. BEWARE! Also, my pecking order is this: family, friends, and then cosplay. So if I have a family emergency I most likely won't have time to go to the con or make the costume. I also don't like people who think cosplay is all about winning or they think they are the most perfect cosplayer so they put down everyone else's costume. A "perfect" cosplayer is one that cosplays cause they like to (not because they want to win) and they put their heart and soul in a costume. And I hate it when people think that they are the best at a character or "are" the character. The characters and storys were meant to be shared among the population. It's like, face it, you aren't the only *insert character name here* cosplayer out there. =^.~=v
