What got you into cosplay?
I liked how people were having fun dressing up like characters that they liked and I wanted to do it.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was Toph from Avatar the last Airbender. I wanted to dress like her because it was the closest character I could look like without drastic change.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Toph one since it's my first and right now only costume.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes, the character is Yee from Warriors of Virtue. He's a kangaroo, so because of the fur and all it would take longer than the simple human looking costumes. Same goes for a Uriko costume from Bloody Roar 4 as one of her other costume choices.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Well, because of this other person who dressed up like Toph, we were posing for a picture, but before we were going to take it, someone looked at me first and asked if they could take a picture of me, but then realized the other person was a Toph also. I guess she didn't recognize them at first because they were wearing sandals and a hat.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I was, but didn't prepare for it in time.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, at least not yet, since I didn't have time to enter into the Costume contest the first time I wore the costume.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm in college going for my fine arts degree in Game Design and development. I'm hoping to do something with animation or even so, character design. I live with m family and my job is simple(barista at Teavana babeh). I usually draw a lot of stuff and I'm hoping to get a comic out, whether it be web or book.
