What got you into cosplay?
I think on a whim I saw there was going to be a local convention in my area in 2007, and I decided to go. When I arrived at the convention, I saw everyone in cool costumes, and I was facinated by cosplay. After the convention I wanted to do it too!
What was your first costume and why?
I had not watched anime in a while, but I remember watching as a kid Yu Yu Hakusho on TV. I wanted to pick something relatively easy, and I thought Botan would be pretty cool. I basically got it made for me though, because I had no sewing experience at all. But now I am currently learning from a local seamstress which is pretty awesome!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I love Tidus from Final Fantasy X, though I highly doubt if I can successfully cosplay the character. It would be amazing to have an amazing Gintama group, NEWS (Jpop) group, or a KAT-TUN (JPOP) group. I guss you can generally say I wish to belong to an amazing group. The other ones I wish to make are either finished or in the process of finishing which is pretty cool.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Right now, that is a dream, a goal of mine. I have not won, or participated in any contests.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm Elizabeth, I am 18 years old and in my final year of battling the hells of high school. My hobbies are sort of obvious on a cosplay site, I watch anime, read manga, cosplay (wow!), play video games, though I cannot draw to save my life. I love to read novels, watch JDrama/KDrama, and listen to JPop. I am 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 Chilan, 1/3 German, and the rest is misc.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I am pretty good at recognizing faces of cosplay.com members at conventions, but I am pretty shy and afraid to talk to others. I have a fear of being too stalkerish and awkward. But if you ever see me, say hi.

I love Detective Conan and Gintama, and also Ouran High School Host Club, Darker than Black, Mushishi, Baccano!, Lucky Star, Shakugan no Shana, Rurouni Kenshin, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, PeaceMaker Kurogane, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Full Metal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Library Wars, Hayate the Combat Butler, Gurren Lagann, Eureka Seven, Death Note, Dragon Ball, Tenchi Muyo...Manga (yes I am putting that under this category) I enjoy Black Cat, Bleach, Skip Beat, Chrono Crusade, Rave Master, HunterxHunter, Shaman King, Ranma 1/2, Kekkaishi, D-Gray Man, Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto (I read a lot of the series I watch)...
My favorite game(s)
I am addicted to the Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice series, they are amazing! I also love Final Fantasy X with a burning passion, but I regret to say I have not played any of the earlier FF games because I was too young. I also love Eternal Sonata, Harvest Moon (Friends of Mineral town is the best), Guitar Hero...Kingdom Hearts was amazing too...

I love Hayao Miyazaki movies (Come on who doesn't!) The Detective Conan movies are great too! (I have watched them all)
But for non-anime movies my favorite are The Princess Bride, and Beauty and the Beast, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones! And Don't forget Karate Kid!
