What got you into cosplay?
My friends, mostly. Basically, one day they said "Bry, you're coming to ConnectiCon with us and you're cosplaying." nxn; I was a little hesitant at first considering I'm not very talented with a sowing machine, but in the end it was all worth it -- even the many holes and burn marks on my fingers from hot glue guns and needles. xD I love cosplaying now. <3
What was your first costume and why?
Sailor Moon from season 1 was my first costume ever and I was pretty pleased with the way it came out! =D Why Sailor Moon? . . . Well, for lots of reason, really. First off, I grew up on Sailor Moon -- Yup, I'm a part of the Sailor Moon generation. Yeah! =P Sailor Moon was my first anime ever and it's what got me into my whole anime crave. nxn Also it was because when I was little I used to think I actually was Sailor Moon. I mean I had the blonde hair and blue eyes and I had a black cat, how could I not be her? x3 So yeah those are the two main reasons for Sailor Moon being my first Cosplay. =3
What is your favorite costume and why?
I'd have to say my Sailor Cosmos cosplay. Hands down. Her design as a character is simply gorgeous. I'm so happy with the final product and how everything turned out in the end. The results of this cosplay have encouraged me to try new and challenging things with future cosplays. So stay tuned~! ;3
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Next on the list of dream cosplays would be Neo Queen Serenity. <3
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes. The very first Masquerade I participated in was at Another Anime Con in Nashua, New Hampshire. It was loads of fun! . . . Though I had to pee REALLY REALLY REALLY badly five minutes before we had to go on stage. xD; I was also involved in the Hall Costume Contest at Anime Boston 2008 . . . if that counts. x3
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I finally won my first award at Anime Boston 2008! =3 I won an Honorable Mention "Eternal Resin Princess" for my Sailor Cosmos cosplay.
