What got you into cosplay?
When I heard of cosplay I really wanted to get into it, but I couldn't find any conventions or anything in the area. Plus, my mom thought it was kind of weird at first, so she wasn't much help until I convinced her to make me a costume when the time came, which was when--finally--I discovered AnimeSTL! After that, I was completely hooked, and learned to make my own costumes and stuff. C:
What was your first costume and why?
Zexion from Kingdom Hearts <3 I loved his overall character and design, especially the hair. (Although I definitely didn't do him much justice for a first costume. XD)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Fay. Everytime I make a new variation, I just fall in love with him and his story a little bit more~ ;v;
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Princess Zelda! I've loved her ever since I was a little kid because I grew up on those games with my siblings. Years before I knew what cosplay was I always wanted to be her for Halloween. Even though that never happened, someday I'll make it! ^^ My other dream is Sailor Moon. My sister and I always used to watch it together, and I have all the episodes and *most* of the wands and dolls (wish I had more, but they're so expensive these days :C) So next would to have the outfit, haha!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably Saturday night of Ohayocon 2011. XDDD We were all sooo hyper and cosplaying the Organization, and we had bro-time, and hahaha. I'll just never forget how much fun we had.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I've done it four times now! The first was a walk-on at ASTL 2009 with Savvy as Mello and Matt, and then at Youmacon 2009 we got craftmanship judging for Jasdero and Devitto, and then I did another walk-on at Youmacon 2010 with my Princess Tutu cosfam, and then at AnimeSTL 2011 Fayzee and I walked on as Flynn and Rapunzel!
What was your best masquerade experience?
AnimeSTL as Rapunzel ~ I met so many amazing friends that day in the Green Room, and going on stage was so much fun!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes :) I won an honorable mention in craftmanship at Youmacon 2009 for Jasdero and Debitto and at AnimeSTL 2011, I got best in class for the Journeyman Division for Rapunzel and Flynn!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently about to be a Senior in high school, and I live with my parents and our puppy Manfred. :) I'm planning on majoring in theatrical production design with emphasis in costuming at SCAD university! Other than cosplaying, I love to make plushies, draw, paint (especially with watercolors) and go on adventures.

Sailor Moon, Tsubasa, Mushishi, Evangelion, Eureka7, CardCaptors, xxxholic, BlackRockShooter......the list goes on!
My favorite game(s)
PERSONA FOUUUURRRR; Final Fantasy series, particularly III, X, and XII~; Kingdom Hearts series; Legend of Zelda series; pretty much any RPG storyline game, haha; Katamariii.
My favorite character(s)
At the moment, Fay from Tsubasa~ =w= such a cutie! Really, if you look at the characters I cosplay, they're usually my favorites. :)
