What got you into cosplay?
I saw the cool costumes people were making at the conventions I was going to, so I was determined to try it myself.
What was your first costume and why?
Gaara of the Desert. I pieced it together using the little bit of stuff I had at the time, and I had a lot of help (I can't sew!!!). I chose it because he's my favorite character from the Naruto series, and I knew I'd have fun cosplaying him.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume is definitely my Commander Amarao costume. It's comfortable, and it makes me look like a secret agent. The only part I've never liked about it is the eyebrows. They tend to get a little warm.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh lord...my "dream" costume would have to be Sakaki, from the .hack//G.U. video game. It's so damned intricate, as difficult as it would be to make, it'd be SO fun to wear!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Forgetting my dress slacks before last year's Detour, for my Amarao costume. >.<
Do you participate in masquerades?
I never have, but I hope to someday.
Tell us a little about yourself
Well, I'm currently between jobs, having moved waaaay up north. I'm an amateur voice actor, a writer, and a painter.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I really shouldn't be here, as I can't really "make" my costumes, so much as piece them together and look DAMN fine wearing them. :-P
