What got you into cosplay?
When you look at a character you love the most, it makes you feel like you want to be part of his/her life. Thats is what I imagined at first in 2002. Cosplay means a lot to me and my friends, it is how I connect with them.
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was the Dark Magician. I sounded like a challenge at first, but it was hard. It was only worn for Halloween, but still lots of fun in making my first costume ever. Sadly, it broke down. All thats left are the shoes xD
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite, thats easy. Kazekage Gaara. I'm a boy and I think he is cute, awesome, evil, and his attitude. Man its just so cool to watch him do his jutsu. This is also my most worn costume ever since my friends and I cosplay at the mall a lot.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hmm, not really. But I have many ideas on even the most challenging of costumes. My biggest dream cosplay is the Arbiter from Halo 2 & 3. I don't think I'll ever do it, but I just love thinking about trying it out someday anyway. Right?
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
WOW, and I mean wow. I have so many, but I'll describe my most surprised moment. When I went to Iowa at 2007, my dad told me to get my things together. We drove for about 2 hours to Coralville. When I went to a hotel, my dad surprised me and said he took me to a convention, Anime Iowa.
It was a lot of fun, I met many cosplayers. Many even asked where I came from, California. They were surprised and they loved me for thinking I came all the way to a con outside of where I live.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yeah, doing skits is a lot of fun. Making up stories or fanfics to entertain yourself or your friend. Even the public. It's what we do as cosplayers, to do crazy things that we think not many can do.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I don't have one yet, I'm still new in the art of masquerades. To me, pretty much all my skits I will be in will be my favorite. ^^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope, I only cosplay for fun and for being with my friends. If I think I'm working on a cosplay and I think its deserves to be shown, hopefully I would like at least 1 award. Worth a shot.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm in high school. I have a wonderful family, my mom, dad, and my cat, Bonnie. I don't have a job, at least not until I get a car. My hobbies are collecting anime figurines from cons and put them up in my room with all my other stuff.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I cosplay for fun and I'd like to meet many other people who have the pleasure of enjoying anime. If you don't, well then what are you doing here?
My favorite anime
My favorite anime of all I'd say is Inuyasha. Then in order, Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Ranma 1/2.
My favorite game(s)
My favorite video game series would be Sonic the Hedgehog, next to Halo, and then Kingdom Hearts.

My favorite book(s)
I read plenty of manga books. So Death Note is my favorite. As well as Bleach, I think its a little better than the anime. Other than that, I love reading the Eragon series.

My favorite character is the one I cosplay as. Probably as Gaara, Grimmjow, Saix, Light, etc.
My favorite movies(s)
I watch plenty of movies, so I don't have a favorite.
