What got you into cosplay?
I went to the midnight party for the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows dressed as Professor Lupin. I found that I enjoyed making the costume and wanted to do it more!
What was your first costume and why?
Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service. I had first seen it when I was seven, and I though it was the coolest thing ever! It was the first "anime" I had ever seen, so I figured it would be fitting to be the first cosplay I had ever done.....plus it was the easiest freaking costume I could find at the time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Ryuk from Deathnote.
Even though it was made of hot glue, pleather, and fail...people still liked it and wanted my picture, which to me was the coolest thing ever. :D
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
ANYONE from Trinity Blood or D Gray Man. Although there are MUCH more complex costumes out there, those to me have always been the epitome of awesome cosplay!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
A little girl, who seemed like....six or something, came up to me when I was in my Kiki cosplay and asked really quietly and politely if she could hug me. She said that I was the coolest and she named her cat Jiji after mine; she thought I WAS Kiki. That pretty much made my life.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but me and my sister have plans!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, but the many glomps I've recieved are better than any award I could ever win!
Tell us a little about yourself
I live for theater! It's the closest thing I can get to cosplay in real life! I enjoy acting as well as directing!
