What got you into cosplay?
My friends were going to a convention and I joined them. That was the first time I cosplayed at a convention. I've been into anime practically forever and would sometimes on Halloween wear costumes that were anime based that my grandmother would make when I was little.
What was your first costume and why?
The first time I cosplayed was for Halloween and it was a Sailor Mars. For an actual convention my first cosplay was a Rune from Dragon Knights.
What is your favorite costume and why?
For Kumoricon 06 my friend wanted to cosplay characters from Naruto and even though I am not a fan of the series I cosplayed it and I was Itachi. I liked this costume because even though I was wearing a lot of fabric and black and was out in the sun a lot I was quite comfortable and didn't really get hot.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I guess I managed one of my dream costumes so I figured I would put something else up. Yuuko Ichihara from xxxHolic and Hikaru Shidou from Magic Knight Rayearth.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The first time the group I was in did Fruits Basket. A photo shoot was scheduled and many, many people showed up and it was so much fun. Plus my friend was the only Hatori there!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yeah, a walk on for Sakura Con as Saiunkoku Monogatari.
What was your best masquerade experience?
We did a walk on for Saiunkoku at Sakura Con, it was a good experience.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No.
Tell us a little about yourself
I worked at a performing arts center for two years and enjoyed helping onstage or backstage with the high school plays. I play the violin. I like to draw (doodle) and I was taught how to sew by my Grandmother.

Currently been working on KH2, but for fun I really like to play Katamari Damancy. I also like to play Guitar Hero and Rock Band!

Any book by Susan Cooper. Not so much a huge obsessive fan of Harry Potter but I find it quite enjoyable to read the books.
