What got you into cosplay?
My friends actually. It's kinda dumb but I didn't even know what cosplay was until my friends introduced it to me. I went to my first con in 2004 and I felt out of place cause I was one of the only ones not cosplaying. It looked like fun...and that's how I got my start. ^_^
What was your first costume and why?
Kadaj.
It was a few weeks before my first REAL con..and I had no idea what to cosplay. When I saw Kadaj's costume...it just seemed to be the one for me..and I've been cosplaying him ever since.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Mello.
I think his personality suits me best. XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Right now...it would have to be Elemental Hero Burstinatrix. She seems like a real challenge.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Performing in ConnectiCon: The Musical at ConnectiCon '06 and '07.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes! I was in a KH/Advent Children skit at Another Anime Con '06, I had a walkon at PortConMaine '08 and I was in a Yugioh Abridged skit at ConnectiCon '08.
What was your best masquerade experience?
My first participation in the masquerade at Another Anime Convention. Our group won two awards! ^_^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not yet..sadly.
Tell us a little about yourself
Cosplay is practically my life. And I kid you not. I'm very serious and devoted to my costumes and I put everything into them. I mostly go to conventions to get away from normal life, meet up with old friends and meet new friends. Ever since I began going to cons regularly in 2006 I've gone to them ever since. They truly are a way of life to me. I hope to go to more cons off the east coast in the future. My ultimate goal is Yaoi-Con. As a diehard yaoi fangirl going to that con would be a dream come true!
