What got you into cosplay?
Well, it started out as me just wanting to make a Harle (from Chrono Cross) costume for Halloween (doesn't it always start with Halloween? XD). I failed miserably at making the costume, mostly because I didn't know how to really sew. XD; But I did very well on the shoes! So that was enough to spark an interest for me. ^ ^
What was your first costume and why?
My first (somewhat) successful costume(s) were Mana & Kozi (Malice Mizer, lol, I know! But I was young and stupid. XD; ) Me and my best friend Ryan were going to homecoming and he thought it would be cool if we cosplayed the costumes from the Gardenia music video. So I made both costumes in two weeks! XD I was shaking so bad by the time I finished, one hour AFTER the dance had started. XD; So we went, had our pictures taken, then won Most Glamorous Couple! XD It was a good night.
What is your favorite costume and why?
It's a toss up between my Zelda costume and my Miyu costume. Both are very pretty, and both are pretty comfortable, but the Miyu cosplay definitely takes less time to put on. XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I still dream of making that Harle costume!! XD; I've made two trials on it so far, and I failed both times. XD Of course, That was about 5 years ago, and I think if I made another attempt at it, I could be successful. ^ ^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
So far, ACEN 2008 for sure. I got to fly all the way to Chicago to meet with my favorite Zelda cosplay peeps. :3 We pretty much just played the whole time! The whole weekend I probably ate a total of 5 meals and only got a total of about 12 hours of sleep. XD Much, much fun was had. X3 And I can't wait until next year!
Do you participate in masquerades?
I probably would if I was ever invited. ^ ^ I do love doing skits!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Haha, none yet!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
If Most Glamorous Couple at the homecoming dance (awarded by people who've never seen the people we were cosplaying) counts, then yes! I still have the little plastic trophy... XD
Tell us a little about yourself
I have lots and lots and lots of hobbies. I play music, play videogames, sew and design clothing, dance (but not very well XD), cosplay, watch anime, knit, crochet, draw and paint, and study Japanese language and culture.

Gundam Wing, Cardcaptor Sakura, Vampire Princess Miyu, Escaflowne, and Record of Lodoss War are just a few of my favorites. Oh, and SAILORMOON! XD That's a classic.
And this will sound really geeky, but I also really love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles OVA! SUPER TURTLES!!! That's right, TMNT anime!! Apparently, it was just released in 2003. It's hilarious. ♥ Although there are only 2 episodes...
