What got you into cosplay?
Actually I always liked to dress up, since I was very little, mostly impersonating my favorite TV- or book-characters. With about sixteen a friend got me to join a Japanese class to learn the language and the rest is history...
What was your first costume and why?
My first anime related costume was a Robin Hood costume for Robin Hood no daibouken, but I was very little then. First real attempt at Cosplay was Chibiusa from Sailor Moon, which was everywhere then, around the time I started learning Japanese. I even had my grandmother help me sewing a Luna-P. My first Cos at a Convention was Ryoma from Tenipuri, because I just loved the show and have a lot in common with the brat.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I like all my costumes individually. Up until now I think my Echizen Ryoma Cosplay brought the most fun, but Subaru stays my favourite. It was one of those cosplays I spent a lot of time planning. The sewing of the red west took a lot of time to.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Prince Arslan of Arslan senki (Heroic Legend of Arslan). There is another Subaru-Cosplay (artbook style of course) I am planning. But there are a couple of others I want to do in the future. I would like to find a group for a Takarajima or Robin Hood no daibouken Cosplay...
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Four Tenipuri-Cosplay-Clad Westerners walking throug a little Tokyo Suburb... A small boy nearly fell off his bike...
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, when ever I a get the chance. :)
What was your best masquerade experience?
There is no best experience. There are some very nice very private meories though. :P
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, I never joined a contest... It's not that I do not like a good competition. It is more that I have enough of that in my work life and I see Cosplay and making costumes as a way of doing something creative and relaxing - a way to have fun. Maybe someday...
Tell us a little about yourself
Currently I am in the last semesters of my university life and already chose a thesis to write at the end. I am a student of Japanese Studies (main), Philosophy and History. I have a job at a japanese company that is quite "enlightening" sometimes. It is fun most of the time, but takes a lot of energy out of me.

Subaru Sumeragi - TOP of the list. There are a lot of other favourites, but that was my first "love" and will be No. 1 fo as long as I will stick with anime and manga.

There is no over alll favorite. But as a raditionalist I should probably answer something along the lines of: Rocky Horror Picture Show
My favorite actors/actresses
Maybe Johnny Depp... Don't really know. There are actors I think of as ver good or talented... No real favorite.
