What got you into cosplay?
My friends kept talking about Sakura-Con and soon I got swept up in the fun. ^^
What was your first costume and why?
Technically, Natsumi Mizuki because we had a decently sized Get Backers group on Friday of Sakura-Con 2006. But, I feel that Kagura Sohma is more of my first because I worked hardest on this one for my first convention. And I love my Kyou-kun!
What is your favorite costume and why?
As of now: Kou Shuurei from Saiunkoku Monogatari. I love everything about this character, her costume, the series, the people she hangs with out with, everything! Close second: Cheshire B (Kaoru Hitachiin). It's so much fun being the Cheshire Twins from Ouran! Quickly gaining all my love: Hokuto Sumeragi from Tokyo Babylon! Yea for Old-School-CLAMP!!!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Easy: Sailor V. I have been a Sailor Moon fan forever, and Venus has always been my favorite. But! I prefer her Sailor V costume; I just would also want to have an Ace Kaitou cosplay with me!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cheshire Hitachiin Twins at Sakura-Con 2007. I have never had so much trouble of trying to get from point A to point B because everyone wanted my picture!!! XD
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes: Cheshire Hitachiin Twins at Sakura-Con 2007 and the Saiunkoku Monogatari group at Sakura-Con 2008. I plan on doing more, just not for awhile. ^^'
What was your best masquerade experience?
Cheshire Hitachiin!
I admit... I was embarrassed by our performance as Saiunkoku Monogatari; our timing was really, really off.... --_--'
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yup yup! Judge's Choice for Cheshire Hitachiin at Sakura-Con 2007. Because we're adorable, and that's out of their mouths! And a few Animania's when Suncoast still existed in our malls, but they were no biggie.
