What got you into cosplay?
I actually have my friends to thank for that. I was never a HUGE fan of anime but I remember AFO being brought to my attention and the idea of going there and cosplaying along with my friends seemed interesting so of course I had to give it a try.
What was your first costume and why?
Well my first costume was going to be an original character for the anime Naruto until none of my things had come in before AFO. So at that point I had to cosplay as a character from the comic I used to write called "Sketch Panic". Lucky enough the character is very basic wearing only a white undershirt, grey long sleeve shirt, black jeans, black arm guards, and a short broadsword.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite costume has to be the one I'm currently working on for MegaCon but I'll leave it at that until it is finished and I have pictures.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My most memorable experience would have to be my first and only experience cosplaying so far, which is AFO 8. I had a lot of fun with my friends, saw a lot of cool costumes, and had a lot of fun beating people at Naruto: Clash of Ninja 4 in one of the game rooms as well as some of the other activities that were going on.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, but I have a pretty good idea planned for MegaCon if my group is ready and I can build up enough nerve to go through with it.
Tell us a little about yourself
Uh, I currently work two jobs and love to play video games in my free time. I also love to draw (needs improvement), write, sleep, snorkel, play street football with friends, and shoot pool.
I'm a certified Graphic Designer who plans on going to get my degree in it, eventually. I used to write two comics, one that was completely random but people still found it funny and the other making fun of real work situations, until I got writer's block of devastation and have basically dropped both since. :/
