What got you into cosplay?
A friend of mine studies japanese linguistics and a fellow student of her does cosplay. In 2006 they wanted to go together on a convention and asked me to come with them. Well, the girl told me about her cosplay-hobby and I loved the idea to look like one of my favorite characters. So I just did it ;)
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was a character that doesn't exist^^ It's an artwork from a man called Digon Roger. He designed Rinoa for a future part of Kingdom Hearts and won a competition with his design. But I didn't know that at first. I just saw the picture and thought "this is it". And besides, it didn't look too difficult to make ;)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hm.. I think my first costume is also my favorite one. First of all it is really comfortable, I can wear it all day long without extrem pain in my feet^^ But actually I like it that much, because I really think that it suits me well. And I loved Rinoa since the first day I met her in Final Fantasy VIII. But at conventions, there are so many "normal" Rinoas that I wanted to make a different style. And I like this one so much!^^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Of course, who doesn't?^^ But I'm going to make my dream come true! I'll make a dark elf from Lineage II. The designes are really awesome. I'm a little bit afraid of doing it, because it looks very, very hard to make.. and to wear (bad high heels) ;) But I'll do my best to get a good result!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I think that was my first cosplay-day. It was a strange feeling and I didn't even want to come out of the bathroom at the convention, where I put my costume on *giggle* But when I went out, many people liked my costume very much and they all wanted to take pictures of me. That made me very proud of my work and was a very positive experience for me.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, I have to say that I don't like the way competitions are done here in germany. Many times they don't really look at the costume itself, how it's done, whether it fits and so on. They only judge the performance the cosplayers make and I think, that's the wrong way... So I never joined a competition.
Tell us a little about yourself
Well, I'm a student and I'll become a teacher for history and german. When I'm not studying (which is most time *shame on me*), I like to read a lot, I love to draw, to play videogames, to go shopping and all that stuff, and of course I do cosplay!

hm.. I don't think so...
My favorite anime
I like Ghibli films very much. But the most important animes for me are Saior Moon, Mila Super Star, Rock'n Roll Kids, KKJ, Disney movies and all these things that I grew up with. They are really beautiful memories for me. Hm... and I always loved animes like Aika or Ikki Tousen. ^^
My favorite game(s)
I'm a girl.... so of course I love Final Fantasy ;) These games are just fantastic. Except part XII... I was really dissapointed from that one. Not beause of the system (that was great), but the story wasn't exiting at all. I'm a fan of Tomb Raider and several beat 'em up's (e.g. Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive and Mortal Kombat). And since I got it from my boyfriend, I like Castlevania - Symphony of the Night very much.
My favorite book(s)
Oh.. there are too much of them^^ Books: Jane Eyre, the Pillars of the Earth, Pride and Predjudice, Madame Bovary... I think these are the books I like most of all. Manga:Angel Sanctuary, Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicles, Anne Freaks, KKJ, Fushigi Yuugi, Alichino... and there are many more^^
My favorite character(s)
I think it is Rinoa, that's why I cosplayed her. I like her style, her character, her story, everything. But there are of course others who are great, for example Arashi Kishu from X, Mioby from Alichino, Michael and Raphael from AS, Maaron Kusakabe, Lehas from Magna Carta, Ainsel from Fairy Cube... you see: too much ;)

Hm.. I don't think I really have a special one. But I like Bill Murray, he's a gorgeous actor.. And I think Angeline Jolie is quite hot^^
