What got you into cosplay?
At first it was for meeting girls (geek). Now its for the challenge of besting myself and others (mega-geek).
What was your first costume and why?
I went as Leader-1 from the Challenge of the Gobots during a Toycon celebrating the new Transformers movie. I'm a rebel so sue me.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Leoric costume from Visionaries. Its a really old cartoon which brings me back to my youth. As nostalgic it was for me to make and wear the costume, I liked it even more for the same feelings I invoked in others (those old enough to remember it at least).
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Escaflowne 1:1 scale. Hey, its a DREAM right?
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cracking my Leoric whip on stage. The twist went real smooth and the snap was heard. I almost hit one of the judges on the head by accident in attempting this stunt.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nope. Oh wait, once. But that's it. Although I do participate in airsoft wargames, if prancing around in para-military outfits counts as a masquerade.
What was your best masquerade experience?
None really. Masquerades aren't my thing.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
A couple, which makes my whole cosplay experience half win. Or is it half fail?
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm now working for my mom in her construction business. I still do part time air gunsmithing when I have the time.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I ride a Honda Cub C70 motorcycle, 1976 model. 60km to a liter of gas ($6 worth of gas a MONTH!)
