What got you into cosplay?

What was your first costume and why?
Deka Red from Deka Ranger. It was in Annual Toys Fair. My friends and I opened a booth that sold Tokusatsu Magazine called Henshin and the latest issue was about Power Ranger SPD. So I recalled my friend in Bogor who has this Deka Red suit and I wore it to promote the magazine. It was a successful story.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Now is Predator..
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
US : Predator, Robocop Anime : Gaiking, Getter Robo, Voltus V
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
When I became a judge in Sharivan costume in Battle of Harajuku last new year. I was judging for Tokusatsu Category. No one realized that I was the judge when I walked among them. It's kinda funny. And in that event, I was one of the most favorite characters to be shot by professional photographers.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes. I have a Tokusatsu Community in Jakarta and it has its own Masquerade team. I was one of the member. Take a look at www.komutoku.com or komutoku.multiply.com
What was your best masquerade experience?
Having a fight with a powerful enemy that made me exhausted for real! I was too excited on the stage.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
In Sharivan, i won 2nd place in Animonster Aishiteru.
Tell us a little about yourself
I've been working as a graphic n multimedia designer at the biggest optic-frame-sunglass-softlens retail company in Indonesia about 4 years since 2003. I love tokusatsu so much and as my first step in toku business, I published a magazine named Henshin, Toku Magz. But it wasn't success so I had to close it down. Then I established another business in Marketing & Communication field called "Legame Creative Consultant". You may check it on www.legamedesign.com . Perhaps we could help each other in the future.
