What got you into cosplay?
My friends and I thought it would be fun to do, after seeing cosplayers at Manifest. I made the costumes, it was awesome and I've been doing it ever since... My mother is a dressmaker/costume sewer, so I learnt from her how to sew...other than that I sort of make it up as I go, or look it up on the internets.
What was your first costume and why?
Meiling from Cardcaptor Sakura...cause out of the Cardcaptor Sakura characters, it was the one most suited to appearance at the time...mostly my hair...
What is your favorite costume and why?
That's a tough question...So far it would be between my Yuuko, Setsuka or Subaru(artbook shikifuku) costumes...
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I've wanted to do that bishop!Subaru one for the longest time, and now I'm finally doing it, despite the obscurity. I'd love to do something with armour someday, I've never tried that
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being accused of being a black witch/satanist at Spencer St station while in my Subaru(shikifuku) cosplay, with threats of being beaten ;_;... ^^; thats not a very happy memory is it...a good memory would be all the idiotic but fun photowhoring! Ot getting sticky photos in cosplay^^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, so far I have won best "new to cosplay" award at Manifest in 2006
