What got you into cosplay?
Same old story- Dude offers me a hit of Sailor Moon at recess- Next thing I know, I can't get up in the morning without a Marlboro, a shot of absinthe, and the chorus of "Fighting Evil by Moonlight" in my ear...
What was your first costume and why?
Nevada-Tan
We are both part of the same Box-Cutter of the Month Club. I haven't seen her post on the forums since she's been released from Hospital.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The mask I wear when the men throw money at me... and tell me to dance.
Sometimes, I look into the love-spattered mirror, and think "Oh my god, I'm turning into my mother!"
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Yes. Yoko Ono cosplaying Yoko from Gurren Lagaan. She won't return my e-mails after I sent her the designs. I think she's stalking me.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
One time I saw this guy dressed up as a trash can at AX 2006. He was so dedicated- I don't think he moved once all weekend.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, but a 'Masquerade' costs about twice as much as a German Tickler or 3 times the amount of a Hail Mary Magdalene. I don't usually have any regular customers who ask for a 'Masquerade', but if I can find the right Eggplant at 3 AM then it's worth the money.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Check xtube and search for Masquerades. I'm the fourth one down.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Momma gave me a "Most likely to be confused with Mimi from The Drew Carey Show" trophy for my 16th birthday. I was going through a phase.
