What got you into cosplay?
Being an internet geek, and finding all the people that managed to look like their character so beautifully. I've always liked making stuff, so I immediately wanted to try it out. It was hard, and took a lot of time and money... But the finished product was so fun! Cosplay's like a drug, that you can't quit.
What was your first costume and why?
Bulma from Dragon Ball Z. DBZ was my gateway anime, and for Halloween one year I convinced my mom that I should dress up like her. Luckily, my trick-or-treating buddies all loved DBZ, too.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Haruhi Suzumiya. I love the series too much not to love the cosplay, and having a partner to cosplay Kyon with makes it even better. The outfit looks pretty simple, but that collar was one giant piece of aggravation.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Totoro. Just... Totoro. Or Catbus. Or The King of All Cosmos.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Walking into rooms during JAMPcon '08, and being immediately recognized as "HARUHI-SAMAAAAA". It was surprising to say the least, but very fun.

I'm a 10th grader in school, with a boyfriend that hates cosplay.
