What got you into cosplay?
Hrm. Actually I can't remember anymore >D~ I suppose I read some articles about cosplay in german mags and got caught >D~ But I really don't remember how I started for real ^^"
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was "Princess Pearl" from "Legend of Mana". She isn't a cool or interesting character at all, but I like her character design. However, back then I just knew a few series and "Legend of Mana" was one of my favorites.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Yuko! Definitely! I think the outfit really suits me and I really like her character. She is very intelligent and wise, but pretty mean and sarcastic at the same time, which makes her a really interesting character. (Hey >D~ She is like me! ^^"). It was the first time I participated in a cosplay competition by the way >D~ I had a lot of fun with my friends and on top of all we won ^^"
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Uhm... I've got a lot of ideas and costumes I want to make. Well. I'm so going to cosplay Beatrix one day and I'm going to make it as perfect as possible...!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
First place with a group in a cosplay competition at MMC'05 as Yuko from xxxholic >D~ And - of course - the debut with our acting group "ShoKoBo" at MMC'07. It was a piece about Prince of Tennis (original story including songs from official Tenimyu) and we had a lot of technical problems, but the audience was great and I had a lot of fun acting as Kamio Akira >D~
Tell us a little about yourself
I really love playing RPG's. I love watching japanese TV drama and anime series (huh, surprising, ne?) and lately felt for japanese anime musicals like Tenimyu, Bleach Rock Musical or the Air Gear Myu ^^. Besides music is an important part of my life, I'm very often going to concerts. Karaoke is fun as well >D~ I like drawing and webdesign and - of course - sewing new cosplays or outfits. Proud member of the german musical-/acting group "ShoKoBo".
